The Bloomfield Police Department was established in 1953. Our mission is to render the highest level of police service in a professional and ethical manner, working in cooperation with the community to solve problems related to crime and social disorder, thereby ensuring safety and improving the quality of life.
Staff
The police department employees a dedicated staff of:
- Nineteen sworn officers
- Two community service officers
- One victim advocate
- Three support staff
