Description
The Bloomfield Police Department pays for the Service of having all their calls placed on a map with their date, time, & crime type as a service to the Bloomfield Citizens. This allows the Citizen to be able to see what their police are being called out to do & how busy they are. It also enables the citizen to know what is happening in their neighborhood and take the necessary action.

You can also sign up for Email Reports, so that the system will send you an email when new calls happen. This is another way for you to stay informed of what is happening in your city.

How To
To allow you to be effective in using this new tool a short how to will be listed below. If you have any further questions please email the webmaster by click here.

By Clicking on the Link above it will take you to another page. On this page it will have a map of Bloomfield with some bubbles with some letters and varying colors.

To the left of the map is a list of all the calls on the screen sorted, by default, by Date. If you zoom in or out you will notice the calls on the left change to reflect only the calls on your screen.

By Default you will only see the calls from the last 14 days and a limited amount of call types. You can the days, of crimes, that you are viewing by going above the map and clicking on the particular periods you want or clicking on the calendar and selecting the range of days you want. You can also change the Crime Types you are seeing by going above the map and clicking on “Crime Types.” Only the Crime types with a check mark are displayed. You can check or uncheck crimes by clicking on them.

You can move to your address directly by typing your address into the Address bar (ie 450 W Maple Av, Bloomfield NM). This will zoom to your location putting a Red Marker on your address.

You can also change the maps display to be “Map, Satellite, Hybrid, or Terrain” by clicking on the buttons in the upper right corner of the map.

If you are interested in seeing various graphs of the crimes in Bloomfield you may click on the analytics tab at the top right. Then Select our Department out of the list. It may take a little time to come up.
